My main interest is instructional technology. I am also interested on mobile devices in K-12. I am currently working on the 21st Century Fluency Project with Ian Jukes a world renowned speaker. I work at the Arkansas Public School Resouce Center. Our office provides legal, financial, teaching and learning, and technology assistance to charter and rural districts in Arkansas.
I have been a TED fan since I first heard Sir Ken Robinson on TED Talks a few years ago. As a provider of professional development for Fort Smith Public Schools and a member of the state’s Technology Information Center for Technology Leadership (TICAL), I have a keen interest in learning opportunities that promote creativity and challenge educators to discover new methods that enhance teaching and learning in the 21st century. For those reasons and more, I would like to attend your TEDxHendrixCollege event on April 10.
